Finished sewing up this #keylargotop this afternoon. Was feeling kinda meh about it & then added the pocket & now I love it. (It’s just the right size for my phone.) ❤️ Also made my regular adjustments of adding 6” in length + French seams. 👩🏼‍🎨 Fabric is @cottonandflax from @moderndomestic // Pattern from @heyjunehandmade #katielewismakes

Made another pair of these @oliverands #sunnydayshorts (which is a free pattern!) for my oldest. She’s tall & skinny so it’s nearly impossible to find shorts that fit her in both directions. I used the basic pattern + 6” length + side seam pockets + a wide hem. Made from the vintage cotton fabric line at Joann’s. #katielewismakes

Progress so far on my #sunnylogcabinsal quilt! Took a break for a while, but I’m back to plugging away at my #sunnylogcabinsal blocks. Plan is to make enough for a throw quilt. Mainly so I have another hand quilting project (I love hand quilting!), but also bc my fave ever pink quilt I sewed a few years ago could use another cozy cheery friend. ☀️✂️🌷 #katielewismakes #katielewisquilts

Made another key largo! These are comfy like t-shirts, but made from wovens, so I don’t ruin them. Ha! ✌🏻Fabric is a super soft loose weave from @moderndomestic. All those tiny white + + + are woven right into the fabric (3rd pic). Pattern is the #keylargotop from @heyjunehandmade. On this one I lengthened it 6” and just cut it on the straight grain. Super easy, fast, & comfy. ✔️ #katielewismakes #memademay #memademay2019

Remember the shirt I made for myself that I shared yesterday? Made this one from the scraps. ❤️ Pattern is the button up button down from @oliverands / @lieslgibson. It’s incredibly well written & made me look like a pro even on this legit little man shirt. Fabric is @cottonandsteel that I got from @moderndomestic. ✂️ I added a little tag scrap in the back and stitched HL (his initials) in it just for fun. It’s size 3T and he’s wearing between 2T-3T now (he’ll be 2 next month), so it should fit him for a while! 💯 And from scraps! I can’t get over it. #katielewismakes #minimemademay
