Tonight I went to my very first ever quilters guild meeting. There were so many old women there. I loved it and paid my dues on the spot.

Tonight I went to my very first ever quilters guild meeting. There were so many old women there. I loved it and paid my dues on the spot.

Reminds me of how I first learned to quilt, when Julia was a baby. We lived in a part of LA where membership was shrinking. They had combined three wards into one, and most of the members of the ward or senior citizens. The relief society there had a lively quilting group. I loved learning from all those grandmas.
