Daily routine

Apr 25, 2017

Living my days like:

  • Wake up
  • Eat eggs I’m sick of
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Check blood sugar
  • Eat lame snack that everyone on diets thinks looks good and I’m like bah
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Bryan tries to be nice and offers me a ham sandwich but they haven’t sounded good in weeks (feels like lifetimes) so I eat a random assortment of foods that add up to 60 carbs
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Want chocolate
  • Want cookies
  • Want to eat an entire cake
  • Sigh
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Check blood sugar
  • Force down another snack
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Try to distract myself with other things but mostly just
  • Hungry
  • Try to hold off long enough to have dinner with the fam but can’t because
  • Hungry
  • Eat weird dinner -or- eat normal dinner and don’t get enough food but either way
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Would kill for georgia mud fudge
  • And oreos with pb
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Sick of 2 hour timer
  • Check blood sugar
  • Half heartedly ask Bryan to make me my nightly choc banana pb fake ice cream
  • Simultaneously eat fake ice cream while silently despairing that it’s not going to fill me up until breakfast tomorrow but I’d rather be hungry than eat another egg or random piece of meat or something
  • Take pill to keep blood sugar low next morning
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Hungry
  • Brush teeth
  • Go to bed

Needless to say, I wasn’t that surprised when I stepped on the scale this morning and saw that I’d lost three pounds since I started this a couple weeks ago. Which would be great if I wasn’t pregnant and in my third trimester and supposed to be gaining weight. Almost like I’m not getting enough food or something. (eye roll) Hoping they’ll transfer my records quickly so I’ll be able to get in to see the new doctor sometime this week and hopefully get this all figured out. In the mean time, if you need me I’ll just be pretending I’m not thinking about food.
