Today was a whirlwind, but in a good way. I woke up and showered, Bryan got Olivia off to school, took Felix to a friend’s house who offered to watch him for us, and then we went to the ultrasound. 

It took the ultrasound tech a little while to get all the measurements she needed to get, but the baby is healthy and everything looks fine.

Partway through the appointment Bryan asked if we had mentioned that we wanted to find out the baby’s gender, which she laughed at and responded that she was trying to, but she couldn’t get a clear enough view yet to say for sure.

Finally at the end she had me get up and walk around a little and it did the trick. The baby moved and she told us. “It’s a…”
